Our Set of 13 Provence Desserts
A land of sharing and hospitality, Provence abounds in traditions, one of the most gourmet of which is that of the 13 desserts. During Advent, the four weeks leading up to Christmas, the festivities are carefully prepared. Every family sows wheat on Saint Barbara’s Day, makes the crib, decorates the house and prepares the famous delicacies that will be offered to guests on Christmas Eve.
Provence is a land of history and tradition
For these delicacies, thirteen are presented, each of which must be tasted to guarantee good fortune for the coming year. Presented in an attractive square metal box in Christmas colors and illustrations, the Brémond Fils boxed set offers around a kilo of mignardises to enjoy on Christmas Eve.
Around the central gibassier, you’ll discover a veritable concentrate of Provence: white and black nougats, fruit jellies, candied melons, navettes, dates, calissons, hazelnuts, orangettes, almonds, raisins and dried figs.
