Lemon from Menton
An ancestral culture
In the 5th century, Menton was recognized for its abundant crops of fig trees, vines and cereals. It is by introducing olive trees that citrus fruits, and in particular the Menton Lemon, will appear. If it is cultivated and appreciated, it will be officially recognized from the 17th century, the period of its peak. In 2015, he obtained his IGP.
The Yellow Gold of the Cote d’Azur

Menton Lemon has sweet notes, slight acidity and intense aromas. Furthermore, it is renowned for its excellent conservation. Described as “4 seasons”, we know that its culture proliferates in spring, summer and sustained until autumn! It ripens on the tree, is harvested by hand and does not undergo any treatment after harvest.
