Domaine Les Grandes Marges: The Heart and Soul of the Valensole Plateau

In the heart of the Valensole Plateau, Domaine Les Grandes Marges has been cultivating a way of life deeply rooted in the Provençal land for four generations. Amid olive trees, almond trees, and lavender fields, the Jaubert family carries on a tradition of expertise passed down through the generations, producing harvests that authentically reflect the richness of their terroir.

Domaine Les Grandes Marges

An exceptional terroir in the heart of Provence

At an elevation of 530 meters, in the heart of the Valensole Plateau and the Verdon Regional Nature Park, the Domaine Les Grandes Marges reveals its ever-changing landscapes with the passing of the seasons. Here, Provence reveals itself in all its splendor: the delicate white of blooming almond trees heralds spring, the rosy hues of sage and the gold of immortelle illuminate the first days of summer, while fields of lavender paint the horizon blue and fill the air with their iconic scents. This unspoiled setting, shaped by nature and time, offers a unique backdrop where every crop tells a story and every harvest expresses the deep identity of the Provençal terroir.

Le domaine Les Grandes Marges

Four Generations of Family Passion

For four generations, the Jaubert family has cultivated this land with the same dedication and respect. Today, Françoise Jaubert and her son Alex carry on the family’s time-honored expertise by organically farming olives, almonds, lavender, lavandin, and immortelle. Every action reflects a deep connection to the land and a commitment to preserving the authenticity of this agricultural heritage. At Domaine Les Grandes Marges, tradition isn’t just something to talk about, it’s lived out every day, in close harmony with the seasons and the harvests.

Lumière d'été

Summer Light, an oil that tells the story of its origins

Among the estate’s treasures, the organic extra virgin olive oil “Lumière d’Été” embodies all the richness of this exceptional terroir. Harvested in November 2025 from the local Jauberte variety—a precious legacy passed down from generation to generation—it reveals a ripe fruitiness with soft, balanced notes. Each drop embodies the patience of the seasons, the richness of the Valensole landscape, and the expertise of the producers who craft it with the utmost care. More than just an olive oil, Lumière d’Été is the expression of a family history and an authentic Provençal terroir, to be savored with every meal.
