Cookies with a melt-in-the-mouth cocoa-hazelnut spread filling

  • 100 g soft butter
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 180 g flour
  • 1/2 c. à café baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 80 g chocolate chips

Preparation

Prepare the melting hearts

    The day before or at least 2 hours beforehand: place small spoonfuls of spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or on a plate. Place in the freezer (they must be very hard).

Make the cookie dough

    In a bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together. Add the egg, then stir in the flour, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips.

Shape the cookies

    Take a ball of dough, flatten it in the palm of your hand, place a frozen spread filling in the center, close it with a little dough, then shape it into a nice ball. Place on a baking sheet.

Cooking

    Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes max: the edges should be golden brown, but the center should still be soft. Let cool... and melt.
