Prepare the pears: peel them and cut into cubes. Sauté them for 5 minutes in a pan with the butter and brown sugar, just enough to lightly caramelize them.
Place the pears in a baking dish or in 4 individual ramekins. Add a few spoonfuls of the spread directly on the pears (it will create delicious gooey streaks while baking).
Prepare the crumble topping: rub the flour, almond powder, sugar, and butter between your fingers until you get a coarse, sandy texture.
Sprinkle the crumble topping over the pears.
Baking: 25 minutes at 180°C (356°F), until the top is golden and crispy.
