  • 4 thick slices of farmhouse bread
  • 1 garlic clove

Roasted tomatoes

  • 250 g cherry tomatoes (red, yellow or mixed)
  • 1 drizzle olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Thyme or oregano
  • 1 tsp. sugar (optional, for light caramelizing)

Topping

Others ingredients

  • 1 fresh burrata or stracciatella
  • A few fresh basil leaves

Preparation

1. Roast cherry tomatoes

    Preheat your oven to 180°C.

    Arrange the cherry tomatoes, whole or halved, on a baking sheet.

    Drizzle with olive oil, add salt, pepper, herbs and a little sugar.

    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until they burst and begin to caramelize.

2. Toasting bread

    Toast bread slices in a toaster or oven.

  2. 2

    Rub them hot with a clove of garlic.

  3. 3

    Drizzle lightly with olive oil.

3. Mounting

    Spread the roasted tomatoes over the bread.

    Add pieces of burrata on top.

  3. 3

    Finish with a generous drizzle of tomato & chilli balsamic.

    Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
