Flat breads with Levant spices

  • 290 g flour
  • 3 teaspoons yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
  • 300 g greek yogurt

Preparation

    In a salad bowl, sift together the flour, yeast, spices, and fine salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the Greek yogurt.

    Gradually incorporate the flour mixture into the yogurt using a spatula, then form a ball. If it is too sticky add a little bit of flour.

    Place this dough on a floured work surface. Shape into a homogeneous ball.

    Cut the latter into 6 equal parts. Roll each one into a ball then, using a rolling pin, roll it out into a circle, maintaining a diameter of approximately 18cm.

    Brush the top side with garlic flavored oil. Cook in a hot pan for 60 to 120 seconds. Brush the top with oil then turn the flat bread over, and cook this side for 30 to 45 seconds.

    Serve the flat breads slightly warm with a mint sauce for example.

    These flat breads will keep for 2 days in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
